Radiesse

Radiesse is an ideal product for volumizing deeper lines and folds in the middle and lower face.  It is considered to be a biostimulatory product since it not only works by immediately restoring facial volume, but also stimulates your body’s production of natural collagen for results that may last up to a year in many patients. Radiesse is comprised of calcium based microspheres suspended in a gel carrier.  Over time, the gel is absorbed and your body metabolizes the microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen.

Radiesse can be injected in the following locations:

Cheek augmentation: used to enhance the mid and upper cheek areas to restore youthful contours, volume and balance. Replacing the volume of the cheeks has the effect of “lifting” the face. The results are more natural, require little down time and have a low incidence of side effects compared with invasive surgical procedures.
 
Smile lines: also called the nasolabial folds, are the lines that run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth.

Marionette lines: the lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth.

Corners of the mouth: also called the oral commissure, if these are turned downward it can make you look as though you're frowning.

Pre-jowl: the area on either side of the chin, where skin can sag due to loss of facial volume.

Chin wrinkles: horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your smile.
